OTHER:

A very well equipped, low time 185 on wheels in the desirable 1977 model (12volt and the later style instrument panel). Early Alaska history, then in lower 48 until last year. Paint and interior are a solid 8- very nice and very attractive!! Airplane was repaired, repainted, and extensively modified in 2011 after suffering damage landing in a Texas field following an engine failure in 2008. All the landing gear damage was just re-repaired properly by Seaplanes North, Cessna service center/FAA repair station.

The Aircraft was just disassembled to facilitate the extensive repairs to the gear box and reassembled with great attention to detail and lots of new hardware. It has a fresh annual as well and has beautiful sheet metal, paint, panel, and interior.

N104TR a very attractive aircraft and appears to be very clean corrosion wise. The recent 1st class repairs arguably add to the value since most 180/185 series aircraft have some noticeable deterioration of the landing gear castings after 40 plus years, and many (like this one had) have poorly repaired/un-documented repairs in the gear box as well. This machine has an extremely nice, rock-solid gearbox now with no splices, hidden cracks, or patches anywhere.

The P-Ponk outer gear fittings make the gear box arguably better than new because they are made from billet aluminum rather than castings like the originals. Also the P-Ponk Beef-up kit adds yet another level of quality and strength to the landing gear mounting.

The asking price is below the book price even after pulling out $5k from its value for damage history which is arguably inconsequential.

All specifications subject to verification.
