Owners Comments:
I have owned it for over 30 years and have been the only pilot.  I am retiring from flying and looking to sell the plane.

It has been used for fish spotting in Alaska.  Since our fisheries are managed for short durations, it has been imperative that our planes are in top condition so major parts are usually replaced prior to failure and have many spares on hand.  This plane has been hangered since 1989 when I purchased it.  I am the second owner and believe it had 1600tt when I purchased it.  It was painted 5 years ago at Sealand Aviation in Campbell River.  It was disassembled and put together with all new hardware.  The engine was put in 4 years ago at Sealand also.  All new controls and hoses, etc at that time.  It is only used during the summer, usually 250-400 hr. per summer, hangered the rest of the year.  I have volumes of paperwork with the plane, past maintenance invoices, misc. parts, maint. and service manuals plus whip parts and maint. manuals.

Plane and floats stored inside and washed at end of most days.  Stored in heated hanger every fall, winter, and spring. Each year is serviced with Corrosion block, Boeshield, ACF-50, WD-40 and lots of grease! The Garmin 345, Aera 660 just cost $10k 2 years ago. The flint tips and paint cost just over $50k 5 years ago. $10k work put into the floats in 2018.

(The 24v 3730 amphibs and the spare parts are available separately.)
